Structural relationship model of type D personality and depression with the mediating role of cognitive distortions and family functioning in irritable bowel syndrome patients and healthy people: A multi-group analysis

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is one of the most common gastrointestinal disorders with symptoms chronic abdominal pain and changes in bowel movements. Although cause this disorder not known, psychological factors have been reported among important causes IBS. This research was conducted to test compare structural relationship model type D personality depression mediating role cognitive distortions family functioning patients IBS healthy people. Furthermore, we compared mediational across levels grouping variable (IBS groups).
